Add an outbound number

An outbound number is the caller ID your assistant uses when it dials contacts as part of a campaign. You can attach several numbers to a campaign and rotate through them.

How outbound works

When a campaign activity is ready, Outhub dials the contact from one of the campaign's numbers, starts the assistant, and tracks call status through to completion.

Provision a number

  1. Open Phone numbers from the sidebar.
  2. Select Add number and choose one suitable for outbound calling.
  3. Order the number. Outhub links it to your team and sets up the outbound trunk.

Attach to a campaign

  1. Open Campaigns and create or edit a campaign.
  2. In the campaign settings, add one or more outbound numbers.
  3. Add contacts (or a smartlist) and choose the assistant that will run the calls.

Using more than one number lets the campaign rotate caller IDs across calls.

Verify outbound

  1. Start the campaign with a small test list.
  2. Confirm the assistant places the call and the conversation runs as expected.
  3. Open Call logs to check status, transcript, and evaluation.

Keep your first outbound test small so you can review calls before scaling up.
